A booklet on mathematical anxiety written by Dr. Dénes Szűcs in collaboration with Dr. Irene Mammarella from the University of Padova, Italy, has been published by the International Bureau of Education (IBE). Intended as a practical resource for educators and parents, Math Anxiety discusses the ways that mathematical anxiety manifests and impacts people’s lives, as well as proposing ways to overcome it. It has been published as part of the Educational Practices Series.

IBE is a subdivision of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), itself a branch of the United Nations. The focus of IBE then is to recognise expertise from those in its member states and use this knowledge to promote a shared understanding of curriculum issues around the globe
