The CNE is delighted to announce that PhD student Laura Vuillier has been selected to receive the highly competitive Endeavour Award by the Australian Government.

Laura's current PhD work is looking at the relationship between emotion regulation and inhibitory control in children and adults, and is supervised by Dr Denes Szucs (Department of Experimental Psychology) and Dr David Whitebread (Faculty of Education).

During her four-month placement at the beginning of 2012, Laura proposes to examine the contribution of emotion regulation and executive functions within ADHD and bipolar disorder. The research will be conducted with Dr Daniel Hermens of the BMRI unit, University of Sydney.
