Research Assistant

I am a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, and very excited to be part of the CNE BabyLab team, working on the BabyRhythm Project, a longitudinal study, supervised by Professor Usha Goswami, looking at language acquisition and its link to the developing brain’s ability of acoustic entrainment to speech rhythm.

Since my early academic years and during my PhD, I have been interested in how language affects and interacts with cognitive reserve throughout life; using behavioural and neurophysiological methods, my focus is to disentangle the role of language in cases of developmental and neurodegenerative disorders as well as in healthy populations.
