Biography:

Isabel is a Research Assistant for the CNE BabyLab project. She received her BSc Psychology from the University of Birmingham. Once graduated, she worked as a Research Assistant for the University of Birmingham. Subsequently, she became a Special Educational Needs Coordinator Assistant in a primary school. Alongside this, she has worked as a Crisis Counsellor and for Social Services, offering support for those with severe learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental and mental health disorders. Throughout her roles, she has witnessed how crucial language acquisition is for social and academic development and most importantly, well being. This her mind, she is deeply interested in how we may use our research to assist children in the learning of language, applying our findings to learning and education.
