Dr Perrine Brusini

Research Associate

I am a Research Associate in the CNE Babylab, University of Cambridge, where I am working on a longitudinal project supervised by Usha Goswami. The aim of the project is to discover the link between brain entrainment to speech rhythm in infants and individual differences in language acquisition.

My research aims to shed light on the mechanisms engaged in language processing, and how these mechanisms arise during development. To this end I use experimental methods (EEG, NIRS) as well as computational modelling.

Previously I worked in the Language, Cognition and Development Lab in SISSA with Jacques Mehler and Marina Nespor as a post-doctoral researcher and with Anne Christophe at the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique during my PhD.
