Dr Li Zhang

Visiting Academic

I am an academic visitor working with Dr Dénes Szűcs, funded by China Scholarship Council. I graduated from Southeast University, PR China, and got my doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering (Learning Science) in June, 2015. When I was a PhD student, I studied in the Key Laboratory of Child Development and Learning Science of Ministry of Education of China, and investigated neurocognitive mechanism of mathematical giftedness in adolescents by using EEG/ERP technology

Research Interests

EEG/ERP signal processing

Neurocognitive mechanism of mathematically gifted adolescents

Logical reasoning and working memory

Complex brain network and graph theory

Reconstruction of intracerebral sources from sensor-level EEG

Feature extraction from dynamic phase-synchronized networks

Causality modelling of the directed fronto-parietal network

Brain-computer interface
