Giulia has twice carried out research in the CNE as a visiting student from the University of Padua, Italy, working under the supervision of Dr Denes Szucs in the Centre for Neuroscience in Education. Giulia first visited the CNE as a trainee during 2015 collecting data for her master’s thesis, studying the electroencephalography of visual working memory in healthy adults, using event-related brain potentials (ERPs), under the joint supervision of Dr Denes Szucs and Dr Andrea Facoetti.

Giulia graduated in 2016 in “Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology” with first class honours from the University of Padua. Giulia has been working on a project investigating visual working memory in elder population. She has been collaborating on a Math Anxiety Project, which includes physiological measures.
