Hannah's PhD investigated the neural mechanisms underlying an attentional deficit called the attentional blink. Specifically, her interest lay in the temporal structure of this attentional deficit and its operation in healthy human adults. Using various speeds of rapid stimulus presentation (as fast as 30msec/item!) her aim was to uncover the way in which the attentional blink is revealed over time.
Having submitted her PhD in 2012, Hannah gained a postdoc. position at the Developmental Neuroscience Unit in the Anna Freud Centre/UCL, London.
